Many of her clients are repeat customers and provide her with excellent referrals. A not insignificant number of customers are doing corrections of jobs they had done elsewhere and wanted to improve the results.

SKIN CARE SERVICES

We offer hydrodermabrasion, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, microneedling, removal of minor skin irregularities (skin tags, ruby points, broken capillaries) and treatment of skin conditions such as acne, sensitivity and hyperpigmentation.

PERMANENT MAKEUP

Enhance and correct features while reducing the time required for your makeup routine. Permanent makeup can be applied to eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. It can also be used to correct faded or undesired skin colour, to re-pigment areola and to camouflage scars.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Spa Roché is owned and operated by Roche Borowicz, a certified permanent and paramedical makeup technician and highly trained clinical esthetician who was awarded the CIDESCO diploma from the world's major international beauty therapy association - Comiteé International d'Esthétique et de Cosmétologie - based in Zurich, Switzerland in 2004. Roche is certified to work with different cosmetics brands and worked in Toronto, ON and in Calgary, AB before moving to Comox Valley. Spa Roché has been operating in Comox Valley since 2011; 12 years in the 5th Street downtown Courtenay, and since September 2023 in the current Comox location.

I went to Roché to remove two large clusters of milia under my eyes. She did this for me using a lamprobe very professionally, and gave me a relaxing facial beforehand. She found other milia around my forehead, cheeks, and chin, extracted those as well. She offered very good advice to take care of my skin to prevent more milia happening in the future. The next day my skin has looked the best it ever has, and my self confidence has increased substantially. I would recommend Roché to anyone and everyone who wants clearer skin.

I took my daughter in to Spa Roché to have a needle procedure done to remove a milia on her lower eye lid. This procedure can be quite painful and my daughter had moderate anxiety before and during her appointment. Roché was very professional and compassionate towards her, reasuring her, which created a safe space for my daughter to relax and follow through with the appointment. It is quite clear that Roché is passionate about her clients and the services she provides.
